BitterSweet

On FB, "J" posted that G.O.D. just made magic with a new drummer. And I started to cry. Life is moving forward without "MM" and the band is starting over without him. My heart knows that life goes on, but I didn't expect it to move forward this quickly.

I don't know what I was thinking..that maybe the band would come up with a new name and start over.  Not that they'd just replace him. Are we all replaceable? If I'm gone tomorrow, does someone just step into my place? I'm not ready to let my friend go yet. I mourn the loss of something that took years to build.

I fear sleep will evade me for awhile...
