A New Day

Whether I like it or not, it's a new day. Yes, it's a day without MM in it, but I received a nice reminder about life last night (after many glasses of wine and shots of tequila) and the message was received. So I dried up my tears for now, and will get on with the business of my life and the awesome friends that surround me, including new ones...

Although I blog about a lot of the craptacular stuff going on in my life, I have a lot of wonderful things too.  Life isn't for wimps. It isn't fair. Life will kick your ass.  On the other hand, it also hands you wonderful moments and challenges. It brings fantastic people into your life and although you don't always get to decide how long they'll be there, at least you have those moments.

I'm really thankful for the family of friends that I have that let me know they're there for me. I really appreciate it. I hope I never disappoint you and that I'm there for you too.

The tub beckons me and that's where I'm headed for the next hour. Then to bed and start another day.  We'll see what adventure awaits next.  I was just going to ask God to make it one that's full of life, but he already gave me that message last night, so I think I'm in good hands.
